Apart from carbon atoms, some cyclic molecules contain other elements and play an extraordinary role in human life. Among these systems, 1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives deserve special attention due to their biological properties such as antibacterial, antifungal, antitumor, anti-inflammatory properties. They are commonly used pharmacology, well fungicidal, herbicidal, insecticidal agricultural applications. The fragment is connected directly aromatic systems can be found the structure of commercially available drugs, or potential drug candidates final pharmacological testing phase. Therefore, scientists looking for new hybrid materials based on 1,3,4-oxadiazoles biologically active molecules. most popular methods constructing carbon–carbon bonds between two species include direct arylation, condensation, cross-coupling reactions. This review article, comprising literature 2009 2022, discusses a number arylation reactions synthesis 2,5-diaryl-1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives.
